Login issues & password help
How do I access my account?
Select Client Login in the top right of any page and sign in with your email address and password. If you are new, choose Create an account, select the account type that suits you, then confirm your email address using the link we send you.
What should I do if I forget my password?
On the sign-in page, select Forgot password? and enter your email address. If an account exists, we will email you a secure link to choose a new password. For your security, the link can only be used once, and you will be signed out of any other devices.
I haven’t received my verification email. What should I do?
Please check your spam or junk folder first. If it isn’t there, try signing in: we will offer to send the link again. Verification links expire after 24 hours.
How can I update my account details?
Once signed in, use Profile to update your name, phone number and other details, Preferences to choose how we contact you, and Security to change your password. A change of email address must be confirmed from both your old and new inboxes.
Why have I been signed out?
To protect your information, you are signed out automatically after 30 minutes without activity. Simply sign in again to continue.
Requesting a phone call
How can I arrange a confidential consultation?
Sign in to your account and send us an enquiry, or build a project brief from the bottom of our homepage and share it with us. We will then contact you to arrange a convenient time. You can also call us on [phone number to be confirmed].
Can I request a callback?
Yes. In your account, set your preferred contact method to Phone under Preferences, make sure your number is saved in Profile, and mention the best times to reach you in your enquiry. Callbacks are made [days, hours and time zone to be confirmed].
What should I expect during an initial consultation?
A private, unhurried conversation about your goals and requirements, and how we would approach your brief. [Confirm: typical length of the call, and whether the first consultation is free of charge]
Who will I speak to?
Our founders handle every client personally. Peizhi Gong, our Managing Director, leads executive search, and Jessica James, our Culture Director, leads our matchmaking service.
Membership fees
Is registration free?
Yes. Creating an account and joining our database is free of charge.
What services require payment?
Our retained services: executive search and board advisory for organisations, and retained private matchmaking. [Confirm: how fees are structured for each service, and whether executive candidates are ever charged]
How are fees communicated?
Fees are discussed with you personally before any work begins. [Confirm: e.g. set out in a written proposal or agreement for you to approve]
Joining as a free database member
How do I join the database?
Select Create an account and choose Executive Candidate or Private Matchmaking Client. After confirming your email address, you can complete your profile and securely upload documents, such as your CV.
What are the benefits of free registration?
Your details are held securely so we can consider you for suitable opportunities or introductions. Your private account lets you keep your information up to date, share documents, send enquiries and follow their progress. [Confirm any further benefits]
Will my personal information remain confidential?
Yes. Your account is private to you and our team, your documents are stored privately, and executive search and matchmaking information is kept entirely separate. We only share your details with your permission. Our privacy notice explains this in full.
Can I leave the database?
Yes, at any time. Under Privacy & data in your account you can download a copy of your information or permanently delete your account.
Becoming a paid client
How do I become a retained client?
Start by sending us an enquiry from your account or sharing a project brief. We will arrange a confidential conversation and, if we are the right fit, agree the scope of work with you. [Confirm: how an engagement is formalised, e.g. a signed agreement]
What does “retained” mean?
Being retained means we are engaged exclusively on your brief and see it through from first conversation to appointment, rather than sending speculative CVs. It lets us invest the time a senior search needs.
What happens after my initial enquiry?
Your enquiry appears in your account with its current status: Received, Under review, In progress or Closed. Any notes from our team appear alongside it, and we will contact you using your preferred method. [Confirm: typical response time]
How are your services tailored to individual requirements?
Every brief is bespoke. Rather than relying on whoever is immediately available, we search widely against your specific requirements and preferences, then return with a curated shortlist.
Location & office
Which countries do you operate in?
Our search work spans the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Ireland, supported by an international network that reaches across Asia, North America and Europe.
Where is your office?
[Office address to be confirmed]. [Confirm: whether visits are by appointment only]
Do you offer international consultations?
Our network is international, and we work with clients across several regions. [Confirm: where in-person consultations are available, and in which languages]
Are consultations available remotely?
[Confirm: whether consultations can take place by phone or video call]
Referrals
Can I refer someone to your services?
We welcome introductions to anyone who may benefit from our executive search or matchmaking services. [Confirm: whether you offer any thanks or reward for referrals]
How do I submit a referral?
Please ask the person first, then send us their name and how they would like to be contacted, either as a general enquiry from your account or by email to [referrals email address to be confirmed].
Are referrals treated confidentially?
Yes. Discretion is central to everything we do, and referrals are handled with the same care as our own clients. [Confirm: whether you tell the person who referred them]
Luxury matchmaking
How does your private matchmaking service work?
Rather than introducing whoever is local and single, we search widely based on your requirements and preferences, then return with a curated shortlist. We prepare both sides before a first meeting so neither party is blindsided. The service is led by our Culture Director, Jessica James.
Who is the service for?
It is designed for clients navigating the intersection of contemporary Western lifestyles and traditional Eastern family values who want a considered, discreet approach.
Is the service confidential?
Completely. Your details are only shared with your permission, every introduction is handled personally by our founders, and matchmaking records are kept entirely separate from our executive search work.
How do you assess compatibility?
We start with a private consultation to understand your values, expectations and the life you want to build. [Confirm: the main factors you consider, e.g. values, family expectations, lifestyle and location]
What is the difference between free registration and retained matchmaking?
Free registration as a Private Matchmaking Client creates your secure profile and lets you request a consultation. As a retained client, we actively search on your behalf, present a curated shortlist and prepare both sides before any introduction. [Confirm: whether free members may be introduced to retained clients]
